In its resolution 60/33, the Human Rights Council decided to extend, for a period of two years, the mandate of Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in Cambodia and requested the Special Rapporteur to report on the implementation of the mandate to the Council at its sixty-third session. The Council will consider the report of the new mandate holder, Thomas Andrews, during an interactive dialogue. In the same resolution, the Council requested the Secretary-General to submit a report to the Council at its sixty-third session on the role and achievements of OHCHR in assisting the Government and the people of Cambodia in the promotion and protection of human rights. The Council will have before it the report of the Secretary-General.
