In its resolution 61/26, the Human Rights Council decided to extend the mandate of the Group of Independent Experts on the Situation of Human Rights in Belarus for a further period of one year and requested it to give an oral update to the Council at its sixty-third session, to be followed by an interactive dialogue. The Council will hear the oral update of the Group of Independent Experts during an interactive dialogue.

In its resolution 60/15, the Human Rights Council decided to extend the mandate of Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in Burundi for a further period of one year and requested the Special Rapporteur to submit a comprehensive report to the Council at its sixty-third session. The Council will consider the report of the mandate holder, Fortuné Gaetan Zongo, during an interactive dialogue.

In its resolution 57/36, the Human Rights Council decided to extend the mandate of the independent international fact-finding mission on the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela for a period of two years and requested it to submit a report on its findings and recommendations to the Council at its sixty-third session, followed by an interactive dialogue. The Council will consider the report of the fact-finding mission during an interactive dialogue.

In resolution 58/18, the Council requested the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights to strengthen monitoring and engagement, including by preparing comprehensive and gender-responsive reports on the situation of human rights in Nicaragua, building on previous reports of the High Commissioner and the reports and recommendations of Council mechanisms and those of the treaty bodies, including on justice and due process for political dissidents and groups in vulnerable situations, and to present a report to the Council at its sixty-third session, to be followed by an interactive dialogue. The Council will consider the report of the High Commissioner during an interactive dialogue.
