In its resolution 60/5, the Human Rights Council decided to extend, for a period of three years, the mandate of the Working Group on the use of mercenaries as a means of violating human rights and impeding the exercise of the right of peoples to self-determination and requested the Working Group to report its findings to the Council in accordance with its programme of work. The Council will consider the reports of the Working Group during an interactive dialogue.
