In its resolution 60/9, the Human Rights Council decided to extend the mandate of Special Rapporteur on the human rights to safe drinking water and sanitation for a period of three years and requested the Special Rapporteur to continue to report, on an annual basis, to the Council. The Council will consider the reports of the mandate holder, Pedro Arrojo Agudo, during an interactive dialogue.
